When We Disagree About Parenting

Create unity when spouses have different discipline or parenting styles. Workshop exercises: 1) Each spouse describes how discipline worked in their childhood home. 2) Identify what each wants to keep or change. 3) Agree on one shared rule and consequence. 4) Discuss disagreements privately rather than undermining each other before children.

Normalize differences while emphasizing a united, thoughtful approach. Encourage parents to revisit strategies as children mature.
