Reduce weaponizing old forgiven offenses. Workshop exercises: Identify past issues repeatedly brought into unrelated arguments; distinguish unresolved from resolved issues; schedule unresolved issues separately; agree not to weaponize resolved ones.
Do not label a serious unresolved pattern as ‘keeping score.’ Some matters genuinely require continued accountability.
