Getting Help When Something Is Wrong

Build a concrete safety help-seeking plan. Workshop exercises: 1) List trusted adults at home, school, church, and community. 2) Practice describing a concern clearly. 3) Identify emergency versus non-emergency situations. 4) Write a backup person if the first adult does not respond.

Immediate danger, abuse, exploitation, or threats require prompt adult or emergency support. A workshop is not a substitute for professional intervention.
